Charmaine Blake Hosted an Elegant Oscar Viewing Dinner — “A Night of Many Stars” — Honoring Legendary Actor Eric Roberts, Golden Brooks, Kathy Garver, and Miguel A. Núñez Jr.; Notable Guests Including Hollywood Walk of Fame Star Ruta Lee, Sofia Milos, Baywatch Co-Creator Michael Berk, Stanley Livingston, Manu Bennett, and Starletta DuPois, who appeared alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in One Battle After Another (Read below story segment, and see her interview on this show!) among many other notable guests in attendance. Roberts’s career began with a leading role in King of the Gypsies (1978) for which he received his first Golden Globe Award nomination. He also received a Golden Globe nomination for his role as Paul Snider in Bob Fosse’s Star 80 (1983). Roberts’s performance in Runaway Train (1985), as prison escapee Buck McGeehy, earned him a third Golden Globe nod and a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. 

Notable films Roberts has appeared in include Raggedy Man (1981), The Pope of Greenwich Village (1984), The Coca-Cola Kid (1985), Best of the Best (1989), The Ambulance (1990), Final Analysis (1992), The Specialist (1994), The Cable Guy (1996), It’s My Party (1996), Cecil B. Demented (2000), National Security (2003), A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints (2006), The Dark Knight (2008), The Expendables (2010), Lovelace (2013), Inherent Vice (2014), The Human Centipede 3 (2015), and Babylon (2022).Eric was so nice to pose with us with his Lifetime Achievement Legacy Award Oscar, as you can see in the above and below photos:On television, his performances in the drama miniseries In Cold Blood (1997) and the sitcom Less than Perfect (2002–2005) have earned him Satellite Award nominations, winning Best Supporting Actor for the latter. One Battle After Another took home six Oscars, including Best Picture, and as you can see in the below photo: writer-director Paul Thomas Anderson accepted the Best Picture Oscar on behalf of the film at the 98th Academy Awards ceremony: One Battle After Another stars Leonardo DiCaprio- who our Entertainment Today TV Show Host: Margie Rey had interviewed a few times earlier at other major events. Leonardo DiCaprio was nominated for this movie, for this year’s Oscar for Best Actor, and our Entertainment Today TV Producer: Steve Taylor met him at a past Oscar Event at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills: On this show our Entertainment Today TV Show Host: Margie Rey had a great in-depth interview with Starletta DuPois who played the role of “Grandma Minnie” on One Battle After Another, that won this year’s OSCAR for Best Picture, that you can watch on this episode, that was taken from the red carpet at this Oscar Viewing Dinner Gala. Starletta is in the below photo with Steve: Starletta DuPois (born July 18, 1941) is an American actress. She has appeared in more than 90 films and television shows during her 50+ year career. She received a Tony Award nomination for Best Featured Actress in a Play for her performance in The Mighty Gents (1978). Starletta told Margie that she had the pleasure to act together with Leonardo DiCaprio, in a key scene in this Oscar winning Best movie: One Battle After Another!

Right after the Oscar Telecast, in the Beverly Hills Ballroom was a fabulous After-Party with a great Fashion Show by the Beatta J Collection, and an amazing special live performance by Reuben Cannon (Nick Cannon’s brother).
Virginie Pichot is a very talented Artist and Painter with Dramatic Art lessons at Cours Simon Paris, with classes at the Lee Strasberg Institute, and classes with 10 Casting Directors in Paris, France. Currently Virginie has her own Woman show- performing in open mic events.
At this 2026 VIP Invite Only Oscar Viewing Dinner Gala and after-party at the Sofitel Hotel Beverly Hills, she was painting Portraits of people attending, including the Lifetime Achievement Legacy Award recipient: legendary Actor Eric Roberts:and guests at our table, and myself during the after-party:This was a night that all of the guests and VIPs will always remember!

Both Margie & Jacqueline got some great in-depth interviews with the breathtaking beautiful Actress: Sofia Milos (above & below photos) who is a Swiss-born actress. She is best known for her role as Yelina Salas on CSI: Miami.She has also had a role on The Sopranos as Camorra boss Annalisa Zucca, as well as roles in TV series such as Curb Your Enthusiasm, Mad About You, Friends and ER.  She was so nice to pose for photos with all of us:  along with talking and posing for a photo with our guest Greg Griffith:

Actor Miguel Núñez Jr. who received the Artist of Distinction Award, Actress Barbara Luna Tank Battalion, Star Trek; and Shahla Dorriz, an International couture designer and textile artist who was presented with the Heritage Award.  In the below photo you can see our Guest at our table: Greg Griffith with Producer Michael Berk on the right: Michael Berk and his wife Michele Berk – the Baywatch Creator and Executive Producers: As you can see in the below photo- the legendary Producer of Movies and TV, including the original hit TV Series- Baywatch, and the Baywatch movies: Michael Berk (3rd from the right of the photo), and his wife Michele (4th from the right of the photo), were both sitting right next to our table, and posed for photos with us, and then Michael joined us at our table for about half an hour to talk to us: 

Michael Berk is an American television screenwriter. He worked with Douglas Schwartz as a writer on the television series Manimal, and many made-for-television movies. He served as a co-creator, writer and executive producer on the series Baywatch, and is also known as the creator, co-producer, and writer of the television series The Wizard.

The Producer/Director: Ryan Coogler won the Best Original Screenplay Oscar for Sinners. We had earlier talked to Ryan at The Producer Guild Awards, as you can see in the photo below: all the “Sinners” Producers- L-R: Steve Taylor (Entertainment Today Producer), Sev Ohanian, Film Supporter, Zinzi Coogler, Ryan Coogler, & Margie Rey (Entertainment Today TV Show Host): 

So, it ended up that Ryan Coogler’s vampire movie “Sinners”, has achieved a record as the most Oscar-nominated film of all time- earning the highest overall total Oscar nominations- with 16 ! It seemed that this year’s Oscar Winners, nominees, and celebrity guests were some of the greatest stars and current talent in our recent Oscar history! 

At our table watching the Oscars- Left to Right: Belinda, Jacqueline, and Steve:Margie Rey did another great job interviewing the celebrities on the red carpet:and we all had a excellent dinner at our table, as we watched the Academy Awards, as you can see us in the above and below photos: With this fabulous Academy Awards Viewing Dinner Gala and after-party, being held at the elegant Sofitel Hotel Beverly Hills Ballroom, it drew out the beautiful people for an amazing experience that we will always remember: Finally, at this great event- after meeting the both of these men below- 2 times on 2 different days prior- at 2 different Oscar Gift Lounges, our TV Show Host: Margie Rey interviewed both them on the red carpet of this Oscar Viewing Dinner Gala: Pol’ Atteu and Patrik Simpson of Haute Couture Beverly hills, who has created Gowns for Carrie Underwood, Bella Thorne, and Peppa from Salt & Peppa; and the Emmy Award Winning Actor: Patrik Simpson- who is the star of the Hit Emmy Winning Show on Amazon and Prime Video: Gown & Out in Beverly Hills. You can see them both in the below photo with TV Producer Steve Taylor in the center, with Pol’ on the left of the below photo, and Patrik on the right of the below photo, during this amazing Oscar Viewing Dinner Gala:
