9. Mac & Lobster  Corey Woods (born January 12, 1970), better known by his stage name Raekwon (/rˈkwɒn/ ray-KWON), is an American rapper. He rose to prominence as a founding member of the hip-hop group Wu-Tang Clan, which achieved mainstream success following the release of their debut album, Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers), in 1993: Raekwon would subsequently pursue a solo career, releasing his first solo album, entitled Only Built 4 Cuban Linx…, in 1995. The album received critical acclaim, and is regarded by many critics as one of the greatest hip-hop albums of all time, as well as a staple of 1990s rap: Raekwon is a legendary rapper, entrepreneur, and founding member of the Wu-Tang Clan. His 1995 solo debut Only Built 4 Cuban Linx…—widely known as the “Purple Tape”—pioneered the mafioso rap sub-genre and set a new standard for cinematic storytelling in hip-hop. With accolades ranging from a 5 Mic rating in The Source to international acclaim, Raekwon continues to evolve as an artist, most recently releasing The Emperor’s New Clothes in July 2025. Raekwon shared, “Me and Havoc from Mobb will be pure hip-hop at its finest. This is gonna take rap shows to the next level—guaranteed!” Havoc of Mobb Deep agreed, stating “The fans can expect nothing less than pure, raw, unfiltered energy on stage. I’m excited to celebrate these two legendary albums—the world doesn’t exist to me without that purple tape in it. This will be a tour the fans will never forget.”  Mobb Deep (Photo Above) was an American Hip Hop duo formed in Queens, New York, in 1990. Consisting of rappers/songwriters/record producers Prodigy and Havoc, (Photo Above & Below) are considered to be among the principal progenitors of hardcore East Coast hip-hop. Mobb Deep became one of the most successful rap duos of all time, having sold over three million records. Their best-known albums are The Infamous (1995), Hell on Earth (1996) and Murda Muzik (1999), and their most successful singles were “Shook Ones, (Part II)” and “Survival of the Fittest”. They were known for their dark and hardcore delivery. Havoc, the stage name of Kejuan Waliek Muchita, is an American rapper and record producer. He was one half of the hip hop duo Mobb Deep, alongside ProdigyHavoc released his first solo recordings, The Kush (2007) and Hidden Files (2009), while Mobb Deep was still active. His 2013 album, 13, featured verses from Raekwon and Royce da 5’9″ and was named after his lucky number. Havoc has also collaborated with Kanye West and The Alchemist, and in addition to producing nearly the entire Mobb Deep catalogue, he has also produced songs for MCs such as The Notorious B.I.G., Eminem, Nas, Raekwon, 50 Cent, 112, Method Man, Mariah Carey, Puff Daddy, Kanye West, LL Cool J, Rohff, Big Noyd, Lil’ Kim, Capone-N-Noreaga, Foxy Brown, Onyx, and his partner Prodigy on his solo work. In 2005, Mobb Deep recorded for fellow Queens rapper 50 Cent’s record label G-Unit Records and left the label in 2009, in a mutually agreed-to release.  Mobb Deep acted in a movie titled Murda Muzik (2004), an urban drama produced by Prodigy.  The group’s members also had roles in the project. In 2000, they filmed a movie titled after their fourth album, “Murda Muzik”, about gang life in Queensbridge. However, it was not released until 2004 due to a lack of funding and promotion after their original label, Loud Records, shut down. It is a hard-edged urban drama with music, produced by Prodigy and stars other members of the crew. Fresh (Big Noyd) is a rapper who grew up in the gritty environment of the Queensbridge Housing Projects. Fresh’s tight flow and street-smart rhymes have earned him a powerful local reputation, and he has signed a seven-figure deal with a major record company. Dealing with his new-found fame and fortune while trying to stay true to the street, however, isn’t easy, and Fresh’s tightrope walk between the two sides leads him down a dangerous path with violent consequences. Murda Muzik features new music from Mobb Deep, as well as tracks from 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, and Nas!

Mobb Deep—comprised of the late Prodigy and Havoc—cemented their legacy with The Infamous in 1995, a gritty, game-changing album that helped define East Coast rap.

With iconic tracks like “Shook Ones Pt. II” and a catalog spanning platinum hits and cult classics, Mobb Deep remains a foundational force in hip-hop. Today, Havoc continues to honor their legacy and perform for fans worldwide, ensuring the duo’s legacy endures: Steve Rifkind, CEO of LOUD Live, added “This tour defines what hip-hop means to the culture—30 years of greatness, and two Top 10 hip-hop albums of all time. Raekwon and Mobb Deep have supported each other for over three decades. The Loud Wu-Tang family and Mobb Deep family have been through it all together. When this tour comes to your city, you’re definitely going to witness greatness at its best—with a ton of surprises.”

Founded in 1991 by music industry visionary Steve Rifkind, LOUD RECORDS quickly became a powerhouse in hip-hop, shaping the genre with one of the most legendary rosters in history. Over the next decade, LOUD introduced the world to groundbreaking artists like Wu-Tang Clan, Mobb Deep, Big Pun, Three 6 Mafia, Dead Prez, and Tha Alkaholiks.

LOUD’s rise was fueled by more than just Rifkind’s unmatched ear and industry network. It was the product of a dynamic partnership with childhood friend and co-founder Rich Issacson, whose sharp leadership helped steer the label, and a passionate team of young, hip-hop-obsessed staffers whose hustle and taste defined the brand. Together with timeless music from some of the most gifted MCs and producers ever, the LOUD team built a legacy that still echoes through hip-hop today.
