Earlier today was the 1st major show of the 2026 Awards Season at the Star-Studded Palm Springs International Film Festival- Film Awards! 
This is where all the Actors, Producers, and Directors attend in person to promote their movies, films, docs, and special projects for the Oscars, and all of the awards season; and once again it was a very special and exciting awards gala red carpet: 
and after-party! This event was presented by Kering and sponsored by Cadillac and Entertainment Tonight, and was held at the Palm Springs Convention Center in Palm Springs.

She’s known for her role as Penny Lane in the 2000 dramedy Almost Famous, which earned her a Golden Globe and an Oscar nomination for best supporting actress. Hudson has also starred in Deepwater Horizon with Mark Wahlberg, Marshall with Chadwick Boseman, and the Apple TV+ series Truth Be Told with Octavia Spencer. She was born to singer Bill Hudson and actress Goldie Hawn, and her stepfather is legendary Actor Kurt Russell! 
The girls in the crowd near the red carpet went crazy over Jack Champion, and were yelling so loudly it was hard to hear the interview, as you can see in the above photo.Amanda is very petite & cute, and looks like she could be only 20 years old, but she is actually twice that age:

Perhaps the highlight of the Palm Springs International Film Festival for our Entertainment Today TV News Team was when superstar Miley Cyrus came over to our camera crew and news reporters to say she had to do an interview with us since we “are so fabulous!”

She first became famous for her role on a Disney Channel show, which was the highest-rated cable series at the time. Miley is known for her evolving artistry and image reinventions. She was born on November 23, 1992, so she is now 33 years old. She was married to award winning Actor Liam Hemsworth from 2018 to 2020, and is the daughter of Billy Ray Cyrus, & Tish Cyrus. She is 5′ 5″ and is currently dating Drummer Maxx Morando. 
Liam Hemsworth (born 13 January 1990) is an Australian actor. He played the roles of Josh Taylor in the soap opera Neighbours and Marcus in the children’s television series The Elephant Princess. In American films, Hemsworth starred as Will Blakelee in The Last Song (2010), as Gale Hawthorne in The Hunger Games film series (2012–2015), and as Jake Morrison in Independence Day: Resurgence (2016).
In our interview with Miley Cyrus- you will learn that she has won three Grammy Awards in total: two in 2024 for “Flowers” (Record of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance) and a third in 2025 for her duet “II Most Wanted” with Beyoncé (Best Country Duo/Group Performance). Margie did a great interview with a friend and colleague of ours: the host of the Palm Springs International Film Festival- Film Awards, and The TV Show Host of Entertainment Tonight: Nischelle Turner, as you can see in the above photo. One time at The Critic’s Choice Awards, we all had a great spot on the red carpet right next to her TV show, and Extra, when we all interviewed Jennifer Lopez:
